Deputy Homecare Manager Required
The Deputy Manager is expected to perform a variety of duties to assist the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and adherence to The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, and to provide the highest quality of support to clients and caregivers.
This is a full time position 40hrs + per week and you must be a driver with a vehicle.
Deputise for the Registered Manager as and when required.
To cover on call duties.
To monitor rota system and cover any shortfall either with existing staff teams or personally if they cannot be covered.
Provide motivational leadership and line management to the Care Team building and maintaining a positive team ethos.
Actively participate and contribute in objective setting and review succession planning.
Undertake supervisions and performance reviews
Respond to new service enquiries received by phone, email, website and in person from prospective clients in a professional, knowledgeable and efficient way.
Undertake consultation to new client’s complete assessments and complete all new client’s paperwork and complete the details on the Care System as required.
Create new care plans, ensuring they are completed, reviewed and updated in accordance with Different Care Ltd standards and update the computer system
Ensure clients and Team Members are matched and Team Members schedules are coordinated effectively, using recurring scheduling through the system.
Carry out Team Member introductions to clients and shadow (lead if required) initial calls until the Team Member is settled into the package.
Maintain regular contact with clients carry out courtesy calls, QA, service reviews, including maintaining and updating the computerised tracking system, ensuring that issues arising are dealt with/followed up in a timely way.
Ensure clients receive birthday cards and greeting cards
Carry out Team Member appraisals, one to one supervision, return to work meetings, support visits (spot checks), competency assessment and signing off on care certificate.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with both clients and Team Members
Carry out clients and Team Members satisfaction surveys and reviews
Complete clients and Team Members termination process
Perform regular audit of clients and Team Member files and complete actions
Identify training and development needs for Team Members and action
Deal with safeguarding concerns following policies and procedures at all times.
Act as ambassador for Different Care Ltd, demonstrating the core values and standards and creating a positive atmosphere at all times.
Work outside of normal working hours when business needs require it
Provide hands on care for clients as and when necessary
Deliver any learning and development needs
Undertake any networking activities
Participate in training and meetings as required
Produce regular KPI reports for the Registered Manger/Directors
At all times maintaining confidentiality for all information including but not limited to client, Team Member and company/office data
Any other reasonable request by the management team
