A recent email from family member regarding their mum:

Dear Emma & staff

On behalf of my brother and myself we wish to thank you all for the excellent care given to our 80 year old mother PD.

The girls deliver care to the highest of standards, and go above and beyond to ensure mum receives everything she needs. From making meals to a hug when she is upset they treat her like she was their own Grandmother. They inform myself or my brother if they have any concerns about mum, and are so considerate in the care they deliver. Mums' dignity is always maintained and respected. Mum is quite complex being a heart transplant recipient, and also has kidney failure but the girls always record her urinary output and document any changes or concerns.

Mum had mentioned to the girls last week that she loved chips from the chippy, so the lovely girls brought her a portion round for her lunch call much to mums' delight.

Nothing is too much trouble for Different care and the support from management is also outstanding with any concerns or worries taken onboard and addressed in a timely manner.

We can’t praise Different Care enough and appreciate each and every member of staff you are all amazing.

I just wanted to say how amazing Emma the manager from Different Care has been throughout the (service user name) case, she has gone above and beyond her role for (service user) to protect her and bring to all the correct authorities attention the risks posed to (service user). Emma and her staff team should be commended for their roles and they truly are an absolute gift to the care sector.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say you are amazing and your compassion and care for your service users really shines through!

We felt so grateful to find Different Care you all made such a difference to Dads life, allowing him to remain in his own home with dignity. I met so many lovely people working with Different Care who gave wonderful care to Dad. Hi Emma I echo what 'G' has said. You and Different Care were wonderful. You gave us peace of mind and we knew dad was safe in your hands. All the staff who came to the house genuinely cared for dad and were keen to keep his spirits up. I have fond memories of you giving the Emma special wash so he always looked spotless. We can never thank you all enough. xxx

We have been using Different Care for just over a month now. We cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they provide for our mother who is almost 80 years old with vascular dementia. The carers are kind, courteous and extremely professional and so respectful of our mum and her home. My mums care is very complex but nothing is too much trouble for them, they all have the necessary skills to provide the care needed for our mum. We can view the app at any time to see how mum is giving us complete peace of mind whilst myself and my brother are at work or on vacation. If they have any concerns we are informed immediately. The dedication of the carers is absolutely wonderful and our mum feels so at ease with them. We have total faith in them all and feel privileged having such kin, patient and totally dedicated staff caring for our lovely mum. Thank you all
